earrings  francescas/ tee  hanes/ skirt  h&m/ sandals  franco sarto
Sometimes simplicity really is the best way to go. For me, the essential in every wardrobe is a plain white tee shirt, in this case I picked one up for two dollars in the men's section of target. Since my skirt had a high waist, I tied up the end of the tee shirt for a hipper look. These earrings are so cool because they are mini dreamcatchers. The earrings and the skirt's print became the eye-catching elements of my outfit, which kept it really simple in its entirety.

headband  handmade/ tee shirt  concert/ skirt  urban outfitters
flats  steve madden/ bracelets  handmade
For the first day back to school after spring break, I was looking for an easy outfit while still showing my style. I settled for my tee shirt from the concert on Friday, pairing it with a skirt instead of jeans. I am trying to grow my hair out so I gave my hair a break from any heat and wore headband that I made from a cut, old bandana.

jacket  t.j.maxx/ tee shirt  gap/ shorts  levis/ booties  clarks/
earrings  urban outfitters/ necklace  american eagle
Last night, I went to a concert for my favorite band, NEEDTOBREATHE, which was absolutely amazing. It was a little chilly outside so I wanted to look cool while still being comfortable throughout the concert. I love this leather jacket paired with the cutoff shorts because they are different styles but mesh together well. I wanted to keep the color scheme to a limited palate to continue the casual, biker-like theme.

shirt  ralph lauren/ scarf  gap/ dress  nordstrom/ wedges  franco sarto
For the last day of school before spring break, I wanted to add something special to my outfit. Heels were the answer. These wedges were such a great purchase; they are comfortable and cute and the metallic goes with everthing. I have had this dress forever, and the floral pattern is very springish. Because I didn't have a cardigan that went with the outfit, I grabbed another one of my dad's shirts, which ended up looking awesome with the loose scarf added.

vest  goodwill/ tank  quicksilver/ pearls  h&m/ necklace  madewell/
khakis  gap/ shoes  vintage
I have to admit, this is one of my favorite outfits in a while. It was super chill and simple but the use of such few colors was really awesome and fun to work with. The tank is a high-low tank with a crochet back so I couldn't wear it by itself to school. This vest from Goodwill (which spent a prolonged time in the washing machine before wearing) was such a great find. For two dollars, I was able to get a piece that can be worn with everything and is slightly unusual. Layering these necklaces of two completely different styles was a risk for me, but it was one that paid off. The look ended up tying the entire outfit together and gave it a cool twist. Finally, these shoes just speak for themselves. They are leather loafers that are just too wonderful for words. I have had them for a while but have had trouble finding exactly what to wear with them.

plaid shirt  territory ahead (dad's)/ dress  forever 21/ necklace  nordstrom/
earrings  and socks  target/ shoes  clarks
I got this dress a couple of weeks ago and have been looking forward to wearing it for spring. I had an outfit planned out the night before, but I decided that since the dress is short and tighter than most of the clothes I wear, I needed to change the game plan. My go-to in this situation is my dad's shirts. This one was big enough to balance the tightness and I loved the mix of stripes, with I did not do intentionally. Because there was so much going on, I matched my socks to the bead on my necklace for a cohesive look and wore neutral shoes. My wayfarers topped off the looking, making if an effortless, boho look.
